Permanent Position

08:30 - 17:00 (Mon-Thurs) + 08:30 - 15:00 (Fri)

Salary according to experience (£27k - £35k)

20 Days Holiday (25 days after 5 years service)+ Bank Holidays + Pension,O/T @ x 1.5, Staff Clothing

You will be manufacturing both plastic & metal parts for the conveyor, packaging, automation & food processing industries within a fast moving manufacturing facility.

Working within a modern, clean machine shop, you will be joining an experienced team of engineers, producing first off and batch order parts..

Key Responsibilities

• Production of high quality components in a timely manner to exact customer specification
• Loading of parts and setup of jobs
• Checking of components to engineering drawings using manual inspection tools
• Ability to organise workloads to meet customer delivery requirements

Qualifications, Education and Training

HAAS experience prefered, minimum 3 years CNC experience

CNC Machinist (Basic up to $2500/Office Hours/5D/West)

 Job Description

Our Client a World’s leading manufacturers of offshore drilling and production equipment looking for interested  Candidates to fill up the role as CNC Machinist 

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday - 8am to 515pm

Location:

• Tuas (Transport provided @ CCK / Lakeside / Boon Lay)

Salary:

• Gross up to $2,500 (Depending on experience)

Job Description:

• Work to priorities stipulated by Lead Man / Supervisor.
• Ensure work done is in accordance to ISO 9001.
• Adhere to the manufacturing / engineering procedures defined in the training matrix.
• Adhere to the Quality procedures / dimensional sheets / calibration.
• Ensure machine is running 100%.
• Meet set up and run times stipulated on routing.
• Return all tooling to tool room.
• Return all used carbide to tool room.
• Report any tool / fixture breakages.
• Report any machine tool damage.
• Report any NCR to supervisor before NCR is raised.
• Feed back to Lead Man on setup and run times variances.
• Feed back to Lead Man / supervisor on method / machine / programming and tooling.
• Feed back to Lead Man with regards to programming speeds / feeds / methods / tooling / machine.
• Ensure edits on programs run on machine is communicated back to Lead Man / programmer.
• Quality of work to maintain to a high standard minimise the number of NCR’s.
• Ensure material verification is completed prior to work commencing.
• Ensure previous operations are signed off on routing before commencing your operation.
• Book down time or ask Lead Man for another machine to work.
• Monitor breaks and start up and stop times.
• CNC Turning: Familiar with machines that has spindle size 31½ diameter.
• CNC Turning: Able to run our product connector 20 inch to 30 inch taper thread.
• Our CNC turning bed length is about 2-3 meter.
• CNC Milling: CNC Milling machine table is 31½ by 31½.
• Able to handle Mazatro and Fanuc Control.

Requirement:

• Min 1 year experience in similar jobscope
• Prefer Candidate with experience in handling larger CNC product.
• Able to commit to OT when require.

• Lezen van de gereedschaps- of producttekening

• (In overleg) Bepalen van de meest doelmatige bewerkingsmethode

• Controleren van het gereedschap (Kwaliteit en aantallen t.o.v. orderbon)

• Controleren van de instellingen van de gereedschapslijpmachine en slijpsteen

• Bedienen van de CNC-gereedschapslijpmachine

• Aanmaken van (hulp)gereedschap

• Eerste productcontrole

• Afwerken van het product

• Registratie van extra bewerkingen

• Visuele controle van het eindproduct

• Overdracht gereedschap aan kwaliteitsmedewerk(st)er voor eindcontrole

• Controle slijpsteen/schijf en eventueel oplossen probleem bij afwijking van tolerantie
